In old tradition, Bulgarian people ask for forgiveness today. From their dearest people, from their friends.

To all that matter for me, to all that are close to me - please forgive me.

It's the same in Russia. We call it 'sunday of forgiveness'.

We call it "Прошка", the verb is "Прости".

It's "прощенное воскресенье" here, literally "forgiven sunday". The verb has the same form and spelling.
