"Two Years Ago, It Thrived" Pokemon Ocean

You must always use a team of 6 Pokémon. This tournament, unlike others, will be held in a weekly fasion. It will be were Round One lasts a week long (7 days). This tournament will also be held in elimination style, meaning, "Win or Go Home" just like sport playoffs.

You may not use ubers or hacked Pokémon. Ubers are a tier of Pokémon that are "too good"; if they are put in a team they give a heavy unfair adantage to the user. This is the list of ubers:
Arceus
Darkrai
Deoxys (All forms)
Dialga
Giratina
Groudon
Ho-oh
Kyogre
Latias - (is uber with or without soul dew)
Latios - *see Latias*
Lugia
Manaphy
Mew
Mewtwo
Palkia
Rayquaza
Wobbuffet

Sleep clause will be in effect for all battles. The sleep clause is: You may not put more than one of your opponent's Pokémon to sleep at any point. Self-induced sleep (such as sleep caused by Rest) does not add to this.

You must always use a team of 6 Pokémon of unique species (you can't have 2 Garchomps, for instance). Your team may change when your opponent changes.

You may not use the following moves in battle: Double Team, Minimize, Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, and Sheer Cold.

You may not use 'luck' items. Luck items are those that rely on or boost luck, including Scope Lens, Razor Claw, Focus Band, and more. A luck item either randomly increases attack or evasiveness.

In the event of a draw (from a recoiling move or other self-KOing move), the user of the self-KOing move loses the match.

More rules may be added later, when we have a better idea of how many will be competing. Until then, comment here to sign up or ask any questions! This is a Diamond/Pearl tournament, and no battles will take place in Pokémon Battle Revolution.
