Well with a mediorce 5 votes on today's poll. The Ocean community voted for an Overused (OU) Pokemon. So I pulled out the grab-bag, to get metagross, well we already covered that, so a second grab brought Milotic....weird two Ms...

but ahh...with an interesting discussion with Red and Jon, Ocean will be doing something it has never done befor "dun dun dun" We will be doing an OU, and a NU pokemon....so here is part 1, enjoy!

"Breathtakingly Beautiful"

Milotic's appearance is similar to that of a sea serpent. The top of its head is long, with a point at the end, and long hair-like fins drape from the sides of the head. Its lower tail is covered with blue and pink scales, and four large scales overlap at the tip of the tail to look like a fan. Milotic is described in the Pokédex as breathtakingly beautiful. They have the ability to calm their enemies by removing their negative feelings, this suggests that they possess empathetic abilities similar to some species of psychic Pokémon. It is a peaceful Pokémon that typically tries avoids battle. It appears to dislike conflict, and will even appear before arguing humans in an attempt to calm their minds. It is a historically significant Pokémon, and has been depicted in many works of art. The female's eyebrow fins are longer than the male's

"Interesting Facts"
Milotic's trainer in Pokémon Colosseum was "Venus", possibly reassuring Milotic's name basis as the sculpture "Venus de Milo. Milotic's name may be a combination of melodic and Milo, as in the sculpture Venus de Milo, which is known for being an example of beauty, and like Milotic, possesses no arms. Milotic may be based loosely on sirens, mythical creature who can hypnotize with their voice to make men attracted to them. An argument can also be made for the possibility it is loosely based on The Loch Ness Monster.

Milotic also have a wide range of healing and defensive moves, so its name may also be a variation on mitotic, descriptive of the healing process of a body part through mitosis.

My favorite milotic set... This set makes it a complete sponge and rest to cure status and activate Marbal scale to boost it's defense 50%. Sleep talk gives you a 66% chance at a powerful move with STAB, and Ice beam for nice coverage, say you don't have to worry about dragons toxic is an option over Ice beam..
