My Operadangers of conformity

i was watching the inauguration ceremony of the ever so popular, Barack Obama and couldn't help but notice the military and navy men. So much discipline, precision and resilience, all serving their country with honour.
But, in their unity they reflect not their character and appear lifeless. If so, then is it safe to say that we are all truly unique? No. We are all common in our differences and that which makes us truly unique is our ability to stay true to oneself. This is what sets one apart from the many.
