In essence, time is a medium of existence, a dimension where nothing governs it but itself. It confines our lives, defines our lives. It knows on boundary. But like any entity, it is subject to man's creative ability - it is an intention, infact, the most highly organised.

Regarding your words "time is a medium of existence, a dimension where nothing governs it but itsel", I should say, time is dependent on space. When space is curved or changed in any way, time will face changes consequently. Speed also can affect time's meaning (and scale), you know.
