Those people who are dependant upon and live in closest relationship with Nature are the most conscious of the operation of universal forces: the pulse of their lives beat in harmony with the pulse of the universe, they may be simple and unlettered, their horizons limited. But they may inhabit a far larger world than the sophisticated one.
