In July I went to a nice tripe in Gaspésie to a wonderful family reunion. Usually it is in January a day after New Year. But because that we want to joint more people it was made in July. Since that we are pretty close family. It is always such a great time to be together. We were 55 and only 14 were missing. I saw my mom and dad and my sister and her spouse. My family leave 11 hours from me and I miss them often. We try to visit each other a few times during the year. We did deferments activities. Since that Pierre:happy: was with us I try to show him as mush thing that I could in such a small period of time. But we had a great time.
After the week end every one left for there home town. With the heart feel with nice memory till the next reunion.. I was feeling pretty happy after seeing all my relatives.
But a few day after that I was home I receive the new that every one that leave fare from home doesn’t want to hear.
My Mother got very hill and we had to do a family reunion to figure out what we will have to do for our parents. Since that the prognostic was pretty bad. I took the bus back home and spend 6 days pretty worry of the future could bring us. I spend all my time in the hospital with her and each day seem to waking her bite by bite to the point that she totally came out of her coma situation. I realised then how bad our medical system could be. I don’t feel to talk about it since that I was pretty mad of some nurse every day...
Thank you lord that I worked 13 years in the system of nursing home and knew how stuff was done. So I could give her the good cares she was needed. I helped lots. I came back home after that we knew that she was safe. Not all cure but safe! I realise them that never take any ting for granted. And to savour every moments that you have to say tank you that your parent are a live.. After a few more time in the hospital she finally came back home But to talk about my miracle……
In my heart I was convince that I would never see my parents to come to see us here in my home 11 hours drive….. Because of her condition. She will never be the same. But she has kept her great sense of humour. But guess what.
Last Friday I received a call from my dad he was in Montreal with his brothers and guess what with mom also.
That made me almost felt on my bum.
They took there time drive a bit and stop hear and there to relax and take an easy! Wow it took them 3 day to reach Gatineau. And to put a cherry on top of the cake they were here with us to celebrate our 6 wedding anniversary. So talk about a miracle I do believe a bout theme …They are still with us to day and they be leaving in a few days... I try to spoil theme every day we do nice stuffs together shopping restaurants and so on… so let me tell you that every day is fore me a blessing and a time to say tank you to that beautiful life…But deep in my heart I do know that it will be the last time that they signed in my guess book.. (Our tradition here at home. all visitors have to signed that book)But I will pressure it for ever( yes Pierre befort that you had ::evry one have to make a wishe....also hihihi! ) ….. That it… end of my novel….

So kindly Cynth my step daughter,
offer her to help her to shop around and see what she can find to furnish their apartment and find the necessary. With a small talk Cynth and me decide that it will be great to do a girl day chopping.
We started at the restaurant clause to IKA and celebrated with a nice drink by a toast to her new life and welcoming her in a new country …
sorry but I lost the name of the drink…but there was some rum in it that I remember. But we had a lot of laughs talking about deferent topic. Girls stuffs!
There we discover how wonderful of a person that Marina could be!! Very feminine and very kind. Cynth and her seem to have great time together. The lunch was on me and they really appreciate it. We finally reach the IKA and shop there till we drop (for about 2 hour and a half). Cynth was very good not spending all her money…. and she had a great time helping Marina choosing the deferments items that was needed to help them to survived the time they will be staying here in Canada. Everything was choosed very carefully so they wouldn’t spend to much but with very much taste. We laughs lots by trying to give all trees our opinions of what we thought it would be better in the matter of the kitchen. What a funny situation went 3 women all different in age and taste. At some points I let the younger one decide and letting them talk about deferent choices cause” My experience and there experience in the kitchen is a bit different. After the shopping came the time to load the car…oupse we didn’t realise that we only had a car not a pick up truck…
We had realise that fast enough by pouting all our heads together we did a pretty good job of loading the car of Cynthia.
Marina was a bit squeezed but we manage to bring everything home and unloaded the precious merchandises.
