I have read, but not understood, what most of the experts say about raising children. I do admit that when you have a child, it is a lot of work. A lot of responsibility has to go into raising one. There are a lot of instruction manuals out there, and yet, you hear things like, "Why don't these things come with a manual?" But if you look at it, they do. Just ask any health care professional. I have been breast feeding my baby since last April. That's over a year, imagine the surprise she got when her daddy said "no more" and the surprise she got when mommy says that her comfort food "done did, dried up" I feel sorry for the poor babe, but i think enough is enough. I had a doctor tell me that as soon as she was 11 months (or a year) that she was to stop, cold turkey, without a sippy. well, she's on a sippy, and it frees me up. Anyhow, this little baby of mine has grown up so fast. she points to her nose and says "nose" (this is how she wakes me up), she points to her seat and says, "sit" while patting the seat next to her, she says "what's this?" to a simple button. And she tells me how upset she is when she's mad. (don't look at her cross eyed, or she'll start spittin loogies!!!)

I can't believe how big she's gotten. I know the bible says that we're not suppose to be proud, but i'm a mom, and i'm proud of all my children...God Bless them all.
