I heard this song and something about it really got to me. Feeling there are only 2 of you can mean a number of things, not just "in love" - but understanding and a common bond with a friend. This basicaly got my mind wondering whether or not there is anyone else out there who thinks the way I do, craves the same things I do, and I got to thinking about soul mates.

With soul mates, etc - sorry I hate cliche phrases lol - but yeah I always wondered if its fate or whatever then should I be waiting for that person to show up or is that person already in my life? It asks the universal question and fantasy of finding someone under your nose, who you never expected. OR going out to find someone incredible from a foreign country and having a one of a kind tale to tell your kids someday.

Im probably far too young to be thinkin about this stuff but lol if you know me by now this won't be a surprise. Although I gotta admit that my chats with Ellan left these things in my head lol!

Wow! What an interesting thought.
It does make one think....
You never know what life might throw your way, everybody has a unique story of their own, especially when it comes to love

One of my friends once said that each person has more than one soul mate. Our current circumstances also effect our future prospects.

It's romantic to think that there's someone out there in this great big world, that you have no idea exists, that's eagerly waiting to meet you

that´s a tricky thing.. love..
I´ve never seemed to figuered out how it works:S I don´t think anyone can!hehe
I do think like you sometimes:) What if there´s a person in another counrty that are the perfect match with my personality? or what if that person is right in front of me?
Ive meet my guy a year ago, we´ve have our differenses, we cant live with each other neither live with out each other? that´s strange isn´t it?
sometimes I wonder if we would be better off as friends, and sometimes I wanna marry the dude! its frustrating:S

I don´t know if soulmates are for love actually? I believe in "soulmates" between friends:) two souls that are mates:)hihi two souls that finds eacth other nice to be around and have things in comment with:) hehe so in that sense you are one of my soulmates! I definitly find things we have same oppionons about and I get along with you very well, from the very first time I spoked to you:) there was a fluence in our conversation:) thats when you find a "soulmate"

I work a lot:S 9am-8pm then I crash when I get home:S that´s why I havent been online for a while:) but today(thursday and tomorrow friday I´m free:) )

that's pretty interesting. i know what your talking about since, I too, have these little conversations with myself. i always felt like traveling all over the world, or get around the city that I live in, because I think that I would one day meet that one girl. we should have a real conversation one day. i think that you might be a person that would understand what I'm talking about. you ever just wake up one morning and just feel like talking about the meaning of life? anyway, i'm not trying to sound gay or anything like that...

yes to everything.
my experience is that longing for your other half is instinctive, and never goes away. some people find it and are careless. it's not that they throw it away; it's more like they don't value it.

i agree with honeybee, that there can be more than one. but it's precious when love is honored with fidelity.
then it can grow and becomes a valuable support for one's aim.
