Toulouse Grumble

Welcome to the Toulouse Grumble. A place for two expats to vent steam on all the daily little pet peeves about life here in France.

This blog was inspired by the theft of a bicycle, a mugging, phone snatching, cars burned during riots, bureaucracy, bad bike-lane planning, terrible public transport scheduling, right down to a snowball attack across a busy street (yes, Toulouse does get snow sometimes...). Basically all these little grievances needed a place to live. This is that place.

Our ultimate goal is to that someone important (e.g. the Mairie de Toulouse - yay Cohen!) takes notice and that things will change - but in the meantime we'll just bitch and moan for your entertainment.

We aim to keep it informative and illustrative - using plenty of pictures and stories - and all are welcome to contribute, whether from hearsay or your personal experience, about Toulouse or elsewhere in the region.
