[Special Semana Santa]: Una Muerte de Héroes.
Estamos en sábado y, presumiblemente, ayer por la tarde es que expiró Jesús en el Gólgota. La visión de Skarf de aquel momento nos dejó impactados con su potente heavy metal... y es por eso que ahora traigo algo mucho más lírico y sinfónico (dentro del rock metálico): el "A Hero's Death" de Cage, una obra superior del tracking (en mi opinión, claro). En formato Impulse Tracker 2, si algo hay que achacarle a esta balada es su enorme peso en megabytes. La versión original del module (al que corresponden en el mensaje la lista de samples, todos a 16 bits) es de un peso sorprendente: 20,3 megas. Hay una versión mucho más "adelgazada" (fuertemente "ripeada", por tanto) con la mayoría de los samples a 8 bits, disponible en modarchive.com, y cuyo peso es de 3,75 megas... obviamente, la calidad sonora, una vez escuchada la primera versión, se hace de notar. Yo he optado por una solución que, si bien no alcanza la calidad de la versión original, supera, obviamente, la de la segunda: he pasado la balada a mp3 (a 128 kbps por el método Average Bit Rate), siendo, de esta forma, la opción menos pesada (3,62 megas) a la par que de calidad audio muy superior a la versión "ripeada" a 8 bits.

I wanted to do a ballad for some time now. I started on several projects
but none of them were to my liking. This one was made in two days time.
So after making a lot of worthless softer songs for the past couple of
months, it took me just two days to finaly make something that's worth
releasing. Though that is usualy the case, most songs I release were
finished in a couple of days and the songs that took weeks usualy suck.
Don't know what style you should label this... Power Ballad perhaps or
Symphonic Rock. It doesn't matter anyway it's a ballad and I hope you
enjoy it....
