Bueno, aquí estoy, después de una estupenda tarde (un poco pasada por agua) celebrando este Lunes, es decir, "la mona de Pascua". Ayer di por concluido mi "special semana santa"... por eso, si bien este tema está relacionado con ese "special", no está marcado con el [S.S.S]. Cristo ya murió y resucitó, así que dejémoslo estar en los cielos. Y si el tema musical que traigo está relacionado con esta historia sacra, lo es, obviamente, por el título: Anti-Requiem.
La significación es evidente: si llamamos Réquiem a una "composición musical que se canta con el texto litúrgico de la misa de difuntos, o parte de él", entonces un anti-requiem es un canto a la vida. Y eso es este tema: un canto a la vida.
En 1999 es que RS3 (of Root Productions) vino a terminar esta extraordinaria composición. El tema está encabezado, en el mensaje de su autor, por un magnífico poema de Dylan Thomas, ya que comenzó a construir la música, según sus palabras, "como una interpretación creativa para la clase de literatura" del susodicho poema... y yo no he podido resistir la tentación de utilizar al mismo poeta para añadir mi personal visión "poética" de esta música (de su "Y la muerte no tendrá poder"):

Que el module ha sido muy elaborado, no hay duda: basta con escucharlo... según nuestro autor, estuvo trabajando en él la friolera de ocho meses.

: I've never had to work so hard on a track before! This really took a
: lot of time and effort to finish, even though about 1/3 of it is copy
: and paste effort. Throughout, my technique and patience both were
: pushed to new limits. I'm glad to finally finish this piece.
