Anyway things are going ok,am having to rebuild a new kernel i got from intel for mygraphics driver,since ubuntu is
unfortunately using the vesa drivers instead...........cant blame it i guess INTELs INTEGRATED GRAPHICS ACCELERATORS (intel gma)'s still have a long way to go....so best get to work.........

the laptop is a Dell Xps m1330,running a intel core2duo t5750 series,with a intel x3100 gma or the gm965 integrated media accelerator,has a 210GB harddisk driver,a 3gb ram,a slidein dvddrive like that of the ps3.as some kool features but i guess the main downer is the fact its using the intel gma(gma= graphic media accelerator) which are not really mearnt for gaming.
thought one can stilll buy the upgrade which lets you choose the supported Nvidia line of graphics card and then its get change but how am i gona upgrade am in Nigeria the main serice US,shhhhhhhhhhh!
oh wel the intel gma x3100 i guess is trying but needs more work wether software or hardwaare tuning.I guess intel has a long way to go before rivaling the likes of ATI and Nvidia.
So concerning my off and on situation,i doubt that will stop soon but i will still be able to check things out and see how everything is.
