HACKING-HACKERS

 Wel we all know the beauty and the power of hacking, wel atleast some of us,but stil why d enduring nagging misunderstanding of what hacking means and is,its not bout getting into your account, bulging all your email space with spams,or wel this part i love, turning your computer, handhelds, mobile to dummybots for attacks, though all this is possible with d hack knowledge you might obtained but yet people stil grab all d crackers and spammers into their big bad list to define them as hackers, being a ubuntu user which is a linux distro built by hackers, and being a hacker myself its insulting.Hacking isnt the above but a term used to define,a term describe the solution, invention, creation leading to a better understanding,it also goes beyond computers,so please stop.
I remember reading this article on google made by a dude who was the dad of a kid who was engaging in some, wel nt so nice things,he read crap bout linux creator saying he ws a russian coldwar programmer, and other misstep ideas, which absolute crap

Hahaha... I love this post! You're so damn right, but on the other hand... people get so nicely freaked out when you show them just a scratch of your abilities: "Is that your password?" :yikes:  -

I recently read: the Hackers book by S. Levy and I came to realize
all the heavy lifting that was done at M.I.T. circa 1958 or so.

We're all just little Space Babies playing with the end result of
they're work. Or maybe End Result isn't a fair term. It's midway.

Anyway, the semantics of the word Hacker are vague and unfortunate. Cracker as well, I think of the band Cracker now.

lol......every word is vague within its reason of conception...its the life n embodiement giving to it by othersignorance dt makes it what we knw it to be......true true.....those before us made life far more easier to work with,cz they strive n crack brains like hell to formulate..create what we take for granted..

Case in point: Apple QuickTime

or .jpg/.tiff filestyles. How many times have we used these technologies without thinking about their creator? THey just work, fairly seamlessly. Efficiently, quality.

In other words, they're the fabric of everyday: Provide coherence and solidity. Take it for granted!

Quicktime goes back to about 1992 when Apple realized that movies would be important...
