HI,
Here's my story.
I wanted to surf the net with my mobile phone (nokia 6600) using a bluetooth dongle
I wanted to do it for free
I hate windows and love linux
This method uses only bluetooth and can work with many installs of linux.
I found this website with a easy guide to getting it happen.
Mainly because i didn't have Linux installed anywhere and using live cd's
i was using this method on and off for a year.
I still hadn't weened off windows yet.
I started with my crazy idea of a Internet fridge, yes it was me not LG!
Once i had the hardware, time and knowhow, I built a PC with xubuntu and atop a fridge it sits.

This photo was taken with my phone and posted using opera mini.
Being close to the center of the house I used it as my phone's server and a cool kitchen appliance.
I used it to look up recipes.
Youtube and other media
Television, streaming from my Ubuntu box on the network.
news, photo's music.
you get the drift.
I just haven't gone to the length of RFID tagging all my food and watching expiry dates and levels of milk!
