Prediction: Melinda Doolittle will win Idol Title!

In view of the fact that there are eight competitors left, I started to review who was left. Melinda Doolittle will win Idol Title!

Phil Stacey, Blake Lewis, Chris Richardson and Sanjaya will not win Idol Title; from the beginning we have gotten the same performances from them a lot of lacklustre off key and out of tune performances and very limited talent in my opinion. There is nothing special about their talent or their performances. Every now and then they will have a good night, simply it is not enough to be crowned Idol!
Haley Scarnato is there based on her short skirts, and provocative performances not on sheer talent. Many of the people I have spoken to, NEVER! wonder what Haley will sing next or how she will do! They wonder how short her outfit will be this week! She will not win idol title. I expect her to go in the next two rounds.
My favourites are Melinda, Jordan and Lakisha! However, from the beginning of this season, I have enjoyed Melinda's performances the most. At this point in the competition, I have to say that my full support is going with Melinda Doolittle! She has the pipes, she delivers powerful performances. She is entertaining, and she has made NO errors! Melinda has grown and come out of her shell giving us excellent, consistent performances. Every year we have one competitor that is consistent, this year it is Melinda. My prediction is Melinda Doolittle will win Idol title!

Just because it is your opinion doesn't make it so.
I totally disagree with you regarding the standard of performances from the other contestants.
Jordin, Blake and Chris R have been quite diversified and are serious contenders for the title. They have been improving each week. So was Gina. Such a shame she was voted off.
In my opinion (only my opinion) I think the audience will tire of LaKisha and eventually Melinda.
I think Melinda is wonderful, don't get me wrong, she will be a major recording artist. I am only saying that other contestants also have a chance.
There is nothing set in stone at this time.

Your prediction is your prediction, and, wish. That doesn't make it so. While Melinda is nearly flawless, it's like, ugh, she's too perfect. That becomes annoying. Also, her, aw shucks, I can't believe you like me, you really like me, is wearing thin.

So because Melinda is ugh near perfect you think that is the reason she should be voted out. I suppose you would want Sanjaya to win, because he is ugh not perfect. I am a Melinda fan and I agree with Arne I hope she wins.

"Too Perfect", "Bores Me" - hmmm. Do you also get bored when Tiger Woods excels as the worlds best golfer? Beckham and soccer? The Williams sisters and Tennis?
I tune into American Idol to watch the shows BEST singers compete in a SINGING CONTEST! Melinda has performed well from DAY one ..and is the best MUSICIAN/VOCALIST in this competiton SO FAR. Maybe some are NOT entertained by pure vocal prowess; since it is not a skillset I possess, I admire it in others. I am enjoying her vocal inflections, nuances, power, and tone. I listen to many artists for the same reasons.
Melinda will do just fine, should she win ...and there are tons of us out there that will buy that CD as soon as it drops! If she isn't your cup o' tea, perhaps you'll get more musical joy out of the latest cookie-cutter pop boy-band, girl band or studio manufactured pop star.

I'm a major Melinda fan. I voted an hour for her last week! And I agree -- Melinda will be our next American Idol. She's got it all, and as someone who roots for talent, someone who has it all appeals to me!

My top bet is also Melinda Doolittle. She has the best vocals, the best emotions, she's the most professional of them all. And she's still meek inspite of all the good reviews.
I love her so much. I hope she wins this American Idol battle over Sanjaya. Only Melinda can bring me to tears when she sings. Love her, love her , love her...:-)

<< Jordin is a talented singer, but she is not consistent like Melinda> However I am in total disagreement that Blake and Chris R have been diversified and serious contenders. In my opinion, they are just as serious contender as Sanjaya is this year or Kevin Covais was last year.

<< What annoys me week in and out is when I have to listen no talent competitors. It is very annoying. Melinda is not just flawless in her peformances, she brings it every week. She has no gimicks, no short skirts and mercifully no off-key lyrics.

<< Fantasia has nothing to hang her head over in terms of success and now that she is paired up with musical genius Quincey Jones, she will reach diffrent heights of success. It seems to me they like to market runner ups talents better then the winners of Idol. Look at what happened to Taylor Hicks this year. Further many idol winners success depended on what they were allowed to put out. Kelly Clarkson was successful with her first album only in North America, it wasn't until Breakaway album came out that she experienced global success and got into the European market.
This is season 3 all over again.
I disagree, season three was not that bad, we had some pretty good talents there.

Enjoyed your review and I totally agree with your prediction. Melinda will be the one crowned on the 23rd May and deservedly so, Jordan will be a close second. I actually like all 3 of the finalists, but Melinda is really in a different league

I like Melinda...but feel that her opportunities as a cruse ship singer has not brought her fame and fortune thus far. Unlike Jordin and Blake, Melinda is not raw talent. She had the edge performance wise from the beginning. However, we have seen two young contestants...raw talent...make their mark in the past 11 weeks. This is truely raw talent with exceptional skill....they are both truely American Idol material. Good luck Jordin and Blake!!!
