Well is that not a slap in the face and a kick in the pants. I knew something was up, by Simon's behaviour. He looked pissed off and disenchanted and quite annoyed. Simon was at a distance and was not happy, so most of us who were Doolittle fans knew something was wrong! With Melinda Doolittle out of the competition, Jordin Sparks should be handed the win.

Melinda was the best talent this year, and the best talent out of a year that really wasn't that great of a season.
Sorry, Blake Lewis is not that talented, he often sings off-key. My prediction will be that Melinda will sell more albums then the final two.
I could say unbelievable, I could be in denial, I could say that America screwed up this time, but I will stay away from that.I could say that American Idol is over for me and that I will not watch the show again. No, what I am going to do is throw all of my support behind Jordin, just because if Melinda is out, then Jordin should win. She was second best in my opinon. I predict that Blake will have miminal success!

Hey let's look at Chris Daughtry. The man ROCKS! Who's Taylor Hicks? Yes Jordin will do great, no doubt, but Melinda will be fine just the same. I bet some big movie producer is already rubbing his hands together with glee that she's out of the contest so he can sign her up for his production using those great chops. Maybe some Broadway show? Winning Idol anymore isn't a big deal, ths show is running it's course and that excitement is done.

You must be tone deaf Arne. Blake is one of the only contestants that is right on with the vocals week after week.
And he is so NOT boring to listen to or watch.
Blake is talented, adventurous, confident, personality plus, considerate, thoughtful and gracious.
Go Blake! There are many thousands of us out here supporting you and waiting for your first CD and tour.

Just for the record, none of my articles this year suggest that I have ever appreciated Blake's talent. He was just ok. My dislike for his miminal talents and vocals should not be a surpise. In fact I felt the Phil Stacey should of been the guy that stayed not Blake. The night both Chris and Phil were eliminated, either one of those guys did much better then Blake on song night. Of course this is my opinion, however I will see you at the finish next week when Jordin wins.

Melinda is far by the most best singer on American Idol so I have no idea why she got eliminated before the finale! It should've been Jordin and Melinda cuase both of them are such good singers! Not to mention Melinda's humble responses in her farewell video on the official American Idol website makes her a star! She will continue her music career as a great gospel artist and she will sell millions records! YEAH, KEEP ON SINGING FOR ME MELINDA!!! LOVE YOU FOREVER!
