Zune

The new mp3 player by Microsoft looks good but it's main feature allowing you to send music wirelessly will be handy when you want someone to hear one of your songs without having them to use your own mp3 player. up

I'm back...

I still think it looks like a chunky version of the ipod and with the new batteries they are putting in the new generation of ipods its going to make the Zune look obselete before its even released. Ipod has the market, older people who dont understand mp3 players call them all ipods, if you say "its my mp3 player" they havent a clue but if you say its a type of ipod they know exactly what you mean. Its not just the spec of that MS have to beat its the associations that apple have managed to market over the past 2-3 years. I think MS are just running out of ideas for windows and know they need to spread ou, I mean, they've had the X-Box, X-Box 360, they're talking about a hand-held, the new MS Phones, the media centre, and now mp4 players... I can see the quality dissapearing soon.

The only thing that is separating this from the ipod in my opinion is the wireless aspect and the size of the screen. I don't think many people care about the screen though as most people have an ipod nano and don't care about the video aspect.

The only way this will sell if it's cheaper than the ipod and the wireless function works really well.
