There isn't any option to add much.
That's why I started the LinuxUsers (http://my.opera.com/LinuxUsers/) group.

stillstruggling writes: I have 8.1 on my small system with two monitors. I heard that Gnome has multiple monitor capability, but both it and KDE refuse to write the backup conf file so that I can switch on the second monitor. Also postgresql 8.3 refuses to load, and MySQL can't find the server or create a database. I thought all these things were going to be smooth installations at this time. What happened?

All anonymous? A blog about Ubuntu or linux isn't going to work well on Opera. Opera is closed source, and so largely shunned by the Open Source community which makes up a great number of Linux users.

by the way, it's time you upgrade from 8.1 (actually 'eight ten' is 8.10). I can't see how LinuxMint is better than Ubuntu, unless you see things like installing repositories and not having bright green themes a problem.

"hello, sweetie"

Just thought I send greetings. Hope all is well here. I'm a Ubuntu user. Been a Linux user since about red hat 6.0. Not a fan of Mac. I would like to Use W7 more, I did try the beta and I did enjoy it. I suspect the reason 7's so much better now is because there is Open Source under the hood.wink

Cheers,

be back soon.
