Kensington Gardens and Green Park

, , , , , , , , , , ,

On my way to the Natural History Musuem I walked through Green Park and Kensington Gardens. In Green Park these greylags looked a little lost - as there are no ponds or lakes in Green Park (unlike all the other royal parks!)

I walked through Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens to look for cormorants near the Peter Pan statue. They were to far away but this juvenile grey heron was a few feet away from the bank, hunting for fish.

It then saw something

went for it...

and came up with a tiddler!

It then proceeded to walk around and ended up posing nicely

And then as I headed for the musuem, just around the corner I meet a common london resident

Digiscoping birds Havering council - bad park managment
