Reminder of sunnier days

, , , , , ,

Here are some photos to cheer up my fellow brits and those across the seas, who have been putting up drizzly depressing weather, all taken on the 24th of last month, when there was still leaves on the trees. A herd of deer grazing in the sun

There was even enough sun to attempt some backlit somes of leaves

And some photos of that compensated for having the sun in my eyes on the way home, here is the north, more wooded end of Rise Park

Romford wildlifeSurprise this morning...

Good to see - a reminder that it wasn't always wall to wall rain :insane:

(Actually it was cold and quite pleasant here at lunchtime, but of course I was at work and had no camera with me!)

The weather was nice today. In fact after poping into town I kept walking and went through 3 parks and was on my feet for over 3 hours in the end. Was a lovely day, but being monday and cold I had most places almost or completely to myself. Not bad considering its a large green area is surrounded by houses and buildings on all sides!

If only it was like that today. I got up before dawn to photograph the frosty conditions, but about 5mins after dawn the clouds covered the sun - which started to break through as I headed home after most the frost ahd gone, and came out just in time to blind me on my driving lesson! lol
