Beaulieu

After the visit to Crockford Stream we headed up to the town of Beaulieu. When sat down at the lake edge for lunch and we noticed loads of these small fish right up against the edge

Im not sure what they are. I noticed a dead jellyfish nearby so they are probably a marine species, even though Beaulieu is inland. They may have been hugging the shallow edges bacuse these guys were patrolling nearby, grey mullet

There were some swans on the 'lake' which ahd had a brood of cygnets, now all grown and preening.

And finally on a comical note, Sue was photographing down by the waters edge when she saw what she thought was a child out of the corner of her eye.....it wasn't!
