The Wick Country Park birds

, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

A week ago Iw as at the Wick Country Park in Wickford. There wasn't much about, but the resident swans and geese. I got a few photos of the swans, even though the light was rubbish

The juvenile posed on its own nicely a couple of times

The canada geese posed for some nice reflection photos

In this next one there is a goose thats only 'half canadian'......The goose seconf from the right on the bottom row is a canda goose x domesticated greylag goose hybrid.

While photographing these residents, a black headed gull started flying around, but I only managed one half decent in flight photo

I like the photos, especially the swans and Canada geese.

Wow, great shots. I so like the swans. They are so regal. There's quite a few wild ones around here too, but I haven't managed to capture any yet. Maybe this migration season!
