More Wat Tyler goodness

Can you tell Im running out of titiles for posts on Wat Tyler Country Park. These photos are from Friday. On getting out the car, the sun had yet to make a full appearance, hiding behind the cloud as it rose. These geese passed over head and I had to rush for the cameraIm fairly sure they were greylags, judging by the noise they were making

The sun was uncooperative for most of the morning, and these teal shots were at the limit of my lenses range, but I think there ok, if a bit pixelated

Another flock of greylag geese past overhead

And I got an almost mandatory collared dove photo

And this sparrow poked its head out of the bush as I walked past

Bye, bye geese! Guess you won't see them till spring?

That sparrow appears to be eating berries

I love the first shot (early morning light is a joy). And very nice to see a sparrow among all these exotics.

@ L2D2 - possibly, Im not sure if these are truely wild geese of the feral ones from collections, and they might just be moving around the marshes a bit if they have come from up north. I'll have to read up on greylag geese. Whatever happens the 10s of thousands of brent geese that winter on the Essex coast should compensate for any geese that leave!

@ Dudley - for a second I was think how does he know that, its he a sparrow whisperer! Then I realised what the stuff on the beak was!

@ Words - I love early mornings, at least when Im outside with my camera! And I rather like sparrows, there getting all to uncommon these days :frown:

@ Wulpen - thanks
