Hobby eating dragonfly at Thursley Common

A couple of weekends ago I visited Thursley Common for my annual visit, where as usual I saw loads of cool stuff. One of these was a hobby hunting dragonflies.

We watched this hobby catch 3 dragonflies in under a minute! Here is a sequence showing it catching one:

An amazing thing to see! There is a reason hobbys are among my favourite birds, anything that can catch a dragonfly will always impress!
