Small mammal course at wildwood

On Saturday I did the second part of my course on mammals, this half concerntrating on small mammals and how to survey them. This involved learning how to use longworth traps and how to handle and survey what you catch in them. We started by going to inspect the traps that had been laid out the previous night. In the first trap was a new species for me, a yellow necked mouse.
