Rainham RSPB

On Friday I popped into the RSPB Rainham marshes reserve. It was sunny but very cold and windy so there wasnt much to be seen, not less than 100m from the paths anyway. I did get any good photos but got a few ok, mainly record level shots. The first encounter was with a meadow pipit

Richmond Park Birds

I only covered the deer yesterday but I have number of bird photos from Saturday too (As well as invertebrates to come tommorow). There was a family of swans on each of the large pen ponds, the second of which I got quite close too

Visit to RSPB rainham marshes

Today I visited Rainham Marshes and I thought it give a brief report. There were a few things like egrets and lapwings about but most were way too far away to photograph. there were however a few small birds showing, but just in range, so apologies the low photo quality. Such as this meadow pipit
