Cleaning the pond and a visitor

An orange swift mothYesterday I had to clean the pond which was totally clogged with weed. And I was pleased to find 2 smooth newt tadpoles, which means there was at least a pair newts in my pond somewhere this spring, but the fact I didn't see them suggests much less of them than before. In the pond there are also goldfish and some golden rudd/roach (can't remember which) and I also found this fellow
There are a few more in there, but I have no idea which of the two species they are.I also cleared away a large amount of the vegetation surrounding the pond and lots of life was knocked in to the pond including this vine weevil
