Foggy morning

, , , , , , , , , ,

On Friday morning, I had a foggy start, and most of the wildlife was either out of sight in the fog or waiting for the sun to burn through. There were plenty of spiderwebs highlighted by the low sun and dew that had condensed on their threads

A solitary robin sang from a bush

And as the sun burned through I managed a photo of a chaffinch

Later on at lunchtime I went for a walk and came across a couple of relatively tolerant jay foraging for food

Amazing photos. May I ask the settings you used?

Half decent? Great shots of the jays. I really like the webs too.

Beautiful photos, foggy days produce lovelly contrails from planes too, like this one approaching Heathrow taken earlier this month.
