Seals and fieldfares at Conyer, Kent

Last Friday I went out for an afternoon walk from Teynham to Conyer sea wall and back. As I approached the tall trees I noticed unusual calls and small flocks of thrushes flying about. I got close and realised what they were: fieldfares :smile:

Kestrel at Conyer

Another set of photos from the weekend before last. We went for a walk along the coast near Conyer, but there were no waders about apart form a couple of little egrets, and any other wildlife was scared of by that eternal pain in the behind for wildlife photographers: the dog of a lease with the owner not even bothering to keep tabs on it. This one was even running across the saltmarsh! Thankfully they had long disappeared when I came acroos a kestrel on a fence post. Unfortunately there was a group of ramblers about 30 seconds behind us and the kestrel was a couple of metres from the path ahead.
