On getting out the car, the sun had yet to make a full appearance, hiding behind the cloud as it rose. Ingrebourne valley - Kingfisher

Today I went for a wlak in the Ingrebourne Valley, which included a walk through Hornchurch Country Park and to Berwick Pond. The water level was high in the river and the path was covered in frozen puddles in places. There wasn't a massive amount of wildlife on show in the morning, just some lapwings on the frozen marsh. So I crossed the bridge over the Ingrebourne and walked on up to Berwick pond where there were some swans
