Birds in Richmond Park

There plenty of birds in Richmond Park other than those Ive posted about. In the first pond we came to a heron was standing where I had seen one eating frogs earlier this year.

Here is my second post on Bushy Park. The following are the photos from the woodland garden areas which are fenced off from the deer and (at least in theory) dogs. I'll start with the Mandarin ducks, this one of a male flaping its wings to be precise. It wasn't quite the angle I wnated but came out ok

Sorry for the lack of posting, but I haven't had much to post about really and I havent written much in the way of articles with the amount of volunteering I'm doing at the moment. But on Saturday the weather just about) held enought for me and Sue to got to Richmond Park to seee the deer rut. I expected it to be busy, and well, it was
