A couple of days after the visit in the last post I ended up in Regents Park again. If anything the weather was even worse, thicker overcast cloud and it kept raining on and off. So I tried something different and used the on board flash and went towards the tame herons

Saturday before last I headed to Regents Park. The weather was overcast so I had to switch to my faster f2.8 100mm macro lens. Thankfully the wildlife here is more cooperative than most so I managed some photos without having to crop too much. The first thing I photographed was this heron

Regents Park

Well it had been a while since I'd been there and I was a uni with a few hours of daylight left...so I went to Regents Park

I spent most of my time in at the eastern end of the lake. The first thing I saw was a couple of wood pigeons sitting on the bridge. One was very tolerant and I took this from a metre away
