Seasalter meadow pipit

Apologies for the lack of posts recently, to be honest Ive simply not had many photos to post about or the time to write some interesting stuff about wildlife in general. Last weekend was quite unproductive, with very little seen (I missed out on the Shrike at Stodmarsh, despite visiting the site Sunday). But I did get this meadow pipit at Seasalter on Sunday, which was a nice consolation :smile:

Last Sunday went to Reculver in search of waders. Unfortunately the beach was nearly covered by the tide when I got there, and being Sunday morning the area was swarming with dogs and their walkers. I held out little hope of seeing anything but gulls, but went for a nice walk anyway. On top of the cliff is Reculver country park, which is a long thin park with a path running along the cliff and another along the border and a 10m or so band of long grass between the two. Amazingly, despite the constant stream of dogs on both paths, the long grass held 2 or 3 skylarks
