While looking at the sleeping stoat from the side of its enclosure, I heard something moving in the brambles in front of me. Im not sure about everyone else but when wandering around woodland and long grass I often hear small mammals squeaking and scurrying through the undergrowth but never get a clear view. So it was a bit of a surprise when this bank field vole decided to come out into the open right in front of me
