Lizards, grasshoppers, crickets, butterflies and darters at RSPB Rainham marshes

It was pretty quiet bird wise, but that never really bothers me at this time of year as there are plenty of more intereesting creatures around, including common lizards.
A few dragonflies were about, including this ruddy darter.
There were marsh frogs in one area of water.
There were plenty of crickets and grasshoppers to, some of which posed on the paths and boardwalks:
