Mistle thrushes mobbing Magpie video

Here as promised is the mistle thrushes vs the magpie video. In fact its two videos that take place about a couple of minutes or so apart:

I went to a few parks today and got many first for 2008, but more on that tomorrow (or a bit later if I see something good tomorrow I guess smile

Whooaa... feathers everywhere. Mostly the thrushes unfortunately (I think). Great video, I bet noone else really noticed what was happening (or cared). The magpie looks very indignant. Jane

Wow, that's one angry thrush! Next time I find feathers floating about I might not immediately assume the sparrowhawk theory!

Thanks for the comments guys. I was a bit worried when the magpir had the thrush pinned but thankfully its mate came to the rescue. Its hard to believe this took place ona busy path in the middle of London and I was there filming it!
