red deer, millipedes, squirrels and jackdaws

Here are some well overdue photos I took way back on the 19th December ( in Raphaels and Bedfords Park. First up are those of the red deer. I tried a low(er) angled shot 
The bright sun was hard to compensate for
and I liked the DOF on this one
The bright sun did mean I could get some detail on the dark coloured jackdaw
In Raphaels Park I photographed an ever present bird, but one I usually ignore: the resident white doves
There were too many dogs about that day (one covered my coat in mud, at which the owner laughed....until he saw my face!
), so the squirrel were very wary. Still it didn't stop some performing their 'kiss chase' courtship behaviour.
Having got invert withdrawl (
) I looked under a log for millipedes: ANd found some flat backed species

I like the white dove picture actually. They may not be wild but they're still very beautiful.
