RSPB Bempton Cliffs - tree sparrows, meadow pipit, fulmars, puffin and an orchid

Going back to Bempton, there was plenty to see other than the gannets. In the car park the nationally localised tree sparrows are in abundance.

This skylark posed nicely.

As did this meadow pipit.

A personal fav, the fulmars were on top form, if difficult to get!

This peregrine made an all to brief cameo.

A few gulls were patrolling the cliff, including this juvenile.

Although due to time constriants I didn't really stop to photograph it, the insects and plants were diverse and plentiful. I did squeeze in this orchid however.

I also tried some scenery with my long lens!

And I'll finish with this puffin thats almost seems to be looking down at the pigeon!

Nice set of photos Neil. I especially like the meadow pipit posed on top of what looks like Queen Ann's Lace.
