Seasalter meadow pipit

Apologies for the lack of posts recently, to be honest Ive simply not had many photos to post about or the time to write some interesting stuff about wildlife in general. Last weekend was quite unproductive, with very little seen (I missed out on the Shrike at Stodmarsh, despite visiting the site Sunday). But I did get this meadow pipit at Seasalter on Sunday, which was a nice consolation smile

I love how the yellow of the feathers is brought out by the yellow of the lichen.

Its so nice we get such a variety of colourful Birds in our Country bigsmile

Dont worry about lack of posting, iam sure no one minds when i dont post for a few weeks, but i do try and keep up with everyone or my news feed climbs rapidly lol

Thnaks everyone - I was quite pleased when I saw how nice the post looked in the photo witht that lichen on it (as well as the bird coming out sharp!)
