Unfortunately, despite seeing them way off, and being gestured by me to go around the other way, this moron of a dog walker decided to walk within 2 metres of the cygnets
It could have ended a lot worse. When the next dog came along the family decided they'd had enough and headed for the lake


Once on the lake they seemed a lot more at ease and even came over to investigate me on the shore




After realisng I ahd no food they set off round the lake

The male (I think it is from the knob on the head) went a head to clear the way of the flock of canada geese. But one didnt make it to the edge in time


I then left the swans and had a look at the latge goose flock

Within it there was a domestic goose (the white one) and a wild type (probably feral) greylag

There weas a large amount of fledglings to. This photo shows three stages they go through when fledging quite nicely!

These mallard fledglings were hanging around looking for food too

But the only non bird wildlife to be seen (other than a rat!) was rabbits. One allowed me fairly close as well:
