Exploring the fauna of Britain

The aliens are coming....

Since the heronry reports are winding down, Ive decided to start a new series of posts on the non native species that have and in some cases till do inhabitat the UK. Some of them are species that you know are introduced, some will be animals that you know well but didn't realise were alien and other you will suprised and even amazed ever occured in the UK.

But for now I will leave with this picture of me being stalked by a frankly terrifing non-native that may one day replace us humans as the dominant species in the UK.....maybe

:D
