The inside isn't bad either, especially the rainforest dome Although there are apparently a few tropical lizards and birds I didn't see any of them and I cant help but think that there missing a great opportunity by not having many animals in the dome, even if they just added some butterflies or a few small birds it would bring the place to life. Saying that though a few birds have decided to sneak in on there own. It is well known that the robins there are numerous and more densely populated than in the wild and have therefore become more tolerant and less territorial. I watched one dart out of the medittereanean dome though the automatic doors and into the restaurant, collect some food, fly up to the door sensor to set it off and fly through the doors as they opened!. the other species I saw n the domes were dunnocks, wrens, blackbirds and this grey wagtail in the rainforest dome.
Outside was dissapointly undiverse in terms of fauna (but lots of lovely flora!). The only insects to be seen were a few bees. There where a few birds thou. This goldfinch sang loudly A black bird collected worms A robin fledgling was tame and very co-operative and this pied wagtail sat nicely on a palm frond Today I went to Becky falls but more on that later
