They hate me. I have the touch of death when it comes to telephones. The one in the house is full of static and nothing else. My cell phone never works when I try to call someone. It'll freeze up or disconnect or I end up getting the voicemail. On the rare occasions when it does connect the person on the other end can never hear me no matter how loud I speak. I'll have missed calls when I never even noticed it going off. I can answer and once again, either I don't hear them or they don't hear me. Sometimes it even comes with a lovely screeching sound instead or a few weird beeps. The obvious solution would be to get a new phone but that's not the problem. Every phone I've ever had is like that. Three different carriers. Three different phones. Always the same problem.

Simply disgusting. I can't think of an uglier creature. They're never welcome. EVER. Last night I was about to go to bed and I look down and there's a big black one about 2 inches from my leg. Now that's scary. Bed is a place to relax, not a place for spiders to sneak up on you like that. Now he's dead. Stupid spider. I hate spiders. Right now I'm trying to find a picture on google of what the thing looked like and even that makes me nervous. 8 legs is 4 too many.

I can't help but get the feeling I'm being more or less used. She wants me to send her little messages during the day to make her feel important, so I do. It's never "Thanks for that." More like "Not enough." Act excited to see anyone else, but when it's me more like "Oh, hey." Why bother?

What is it with some people? Always obsessing about the good old days, whether they existed or not. All these oversimplified email things that get forwarded to a million people at once talking about how things used to be. So what if people didn't get diabetes or cancer or autism or whatever as often. They either died before they had a chance to get it or didn't have enough understanding of anything to recognize it. So hey, if you don't know it's there it can't be a problem right?
Back when it was ok to be racist and dying in wars was a good thing. So what if a soda only cost 5 cents. That's because people made less money. How hard is that to understand? Maybe there weren't as many kids born outside of marriages, but I bet if you count back from when the first one is born it will be maybe 6 months after their wedding date in a lot of cases. Does that give them better morals or whatever you want to call it than people have today? And oh, look at all the aleggedly classic movies and musicians that came from way back when. Elvises and the like. Because those were the only ones around back then. There was no such thing as cheap trash that gets forgotten about because it's not worth remebering.
When you get old the things you used to know fade away. Deal with it and quit whining about it blaming everyone else. Maybe try setting a good example for once.

I'm never going to try to do anything to help anyone ever again. It doesn't work. All it takes is one person to say something completely false about you and everything comes undone. So yeah, might as well not worry about what's true or not either. The pope does human sacrifices, George Bush eats kittens, and Brad Pitt caused 9/11. You heard it here so start spreading the word. All rumors are true no matter how big of a liar your source of information is. In fact, less reliable is a good thing. They're the ones that can come up with the juicier rumors that will cause more trouble. And you know what? Someone is going to be dumb enough to believe it. Sooner or later one is going to be about you so beat them to the punch. What are you waiting for? Don't be a chump. Pick a victim. Someone you hate, someone you're jealous of, maybe even a total stranger. Get them all worked up in a panic. Make sure you're not the one getting a call at 4 in the morning basically saying "I hate you."

Just, wow. Ever find out someone wasn't who you thought they were? I mean literally. It might sound like I'm going off onto a completely different subject here but believe me, it is related. Being the messenger between a daughter and a mother that aren't talking to each other. Awkward. It'd be nice if they work something out soon. Then again maybe not. Them avoiding each other might be the best thing. It's all one big messed up situation though. The mom doesn't deserve the kid. The kid deserves to have a place to stay. There's just no winning.

Who really knows. I've kinda lost track. The date and days of the week. They all blend together. I suppose I could blame them on my phone going off way earlier than I want it to (5 in the morning, seriously? Come on.) but that's probably not the case. Oh well. Summer will be over soon. The only question is will I be able to finish the 3 remaining Harry Potters before then. Whatever. Guess I'll just wait for my countdown to reach 0

Waiting for summer to end. Waiting for a response. Waiting for downloads to finish.
The only good news is I don't have to wait to see if I can swap the classes I want. Shockingly enough, it worked. Which will make for some very long days come September. More specifically, Tuesdays through Thursdays. Never been a big fan of mid-week. Now I'll be even less of a fan.
Ow. Just cracked my neck. Usually it's somewhat of a relief but that one hurt.

I really hate them sometimes.

It's kinda hard to get over someone when they're constantly reminding you about it. Just sayin'.
