In The Maths Lesson

Tension, anxiety and angles.

Struggling, confusion and centimetres.

Workings out, sighs and fractions.

Nervousness, grief and rulers.

Mistakes, frustration and compasses.

Darkness, despair and decimals.

Joy, relief and the school bell!

although it isn't as bad as chemistry

Haiku mood

cityscape flows through
bricks and mortar, cement world
within we are trapped

Ok, me being serious now. Faith [poetry]

,

Faith
Silent screaming is all I can muster,
As words fail me altogether,
I stand alone waiting for dark to leave,
But the clouds of agony glide,
People lie when they say it will be fine,
They don't know whats inside me,
I open my eyes and for the first time see,
What world is in front of me,
I cant remember feeling like this before,
I cant take the strain anymore, it must end.

Strong hands grip my shoulders pulling me up,
Stopping me in my tracks,
Medicine can cure your illnesses,
Scars will always fade,
Emotions cant go away, they are harder to fix
Unless you don't stop believing,
Never give up yourself, it's all you truly have,
No one picked me up and stopped me that day...

But my faith did...

Scars always fade.

i am a strong believer in faith. i live by my faith and when i went through a bad patch it was there to catch me when i fell.

What i see [ poetry]

,

I always get shouted at,
For wearing my fringe long,
Covering my eyes,
Apparently I am wrong.

There is a very good reason,
Not fashion or trend,
I don’t want to see,
The world I can’t comprehend.

You want me to see,
The grime and dirt,
Men swearing blindly,
Wanting women to flirt.

The carpet of litter,
Surrounding our feet,
Insults spelt wrongly,
On our clean new concrete.

People living on barely a wage,
Always forces a tear,
For souls living in slums,
Panic and fear.

Lost loves and grief,
Shroud us in desolation,
Adolescents in dilemma,
Waiting for salvation.

Hate and prejudice,
Stop us from growing,
Into decent ethical citizens,
Children unknowing.

Why bother with my fringe,
Leave it be,
Until I am proved wrong,
It shall be a shield to me.

Ahaha, this always makes me smile. I really like being my age.

Darfur

, , ,

Ok. There is a real crisis there. I am doing a school r.e project (said i was young didnt i) and its about genocide. We have mainly done the holocaust but we were asked if that sort of thing could ever happen again... there have been five genocides since the holocaust including Darfur. Even if the crisis ended tomorrow in Darfur, so many people have died it would still be counted as a genocide!
We need to take action now! We can not let this carry on.

Silence [poetry]

Silence
Silence is the loudest noise.
It is the fury of hate,
And the comfort of love.
With it the joy of friendship thrives,
Without it, it is only defined.

See if you can find the meaning of this.

Listen up. Just because I'm young does not mean i hang around on street corners creating havoc. I AM young and i'm proud of it. I have an insight that most people don't. Im not like most younger people. But it gets really annoying when no one takes you seriously BECAUSE your young. I'm sorry if i appear to be ranting but in this age of equal opportunities it really doesnt seem fair or RIGHT.
So either take me seriously or stop reading and go away.:yikes:
Thankyou. :D
