Hey buddeys,i wanna coin a new idiom.In wich movie did it take place and do u agree with creating such an idiom?
Gate 67 was a place in this movie.I wanna creat the new idiom as:"being in Gate 67"=waiting(esp 4a long time).

Noah i'm researching on the process of an idiom or saying being born & getting into a culture.Idioms like catch_22 situation wich was originally mentioned in a novel written by(forgot!),later got a popular idiom.I wonder if this (gate 67) coud do so.(though i'm not a native)

I hate to point out the obvious, but I don't think your blog is as popular as was "Catch-22". You have to find some qroundswell of use before something finds it's way into popular lexicon. Since the movie itself didn't create that groundswell, you have your work cut out for you!

When I was a teen (that's 30 years ago), I visited family in Connecticut, where the the word "wicked" was used to mean "very" or "excellent": "That movie was wicked cool!"

Seven years ago, when I was in Idaho, kids were just starting to use "wicked" in the same context.
