About me
Born along time ago in a distant land, rejected formal education. Just like my forebeares. Four Bears? Young at heart, I find that my interest lie in helping others. Places I've learned about, been and liked... Almaden, CA; San Francisco, CA; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY. Never travelled outside the U.S. Except if you include a drive to Ensenada, Baja Cali., 1971 ...I don't; commercially the state of California owns that stretch of appendage to the South. Beautiful and educating trip in a 1970 Mazda RX7. (A Wankel-Rotary engine bright yellow 4 door sedan). When people get to know me better, they discover an edge. I think I got it in NYC. I'm not as edgy as the people on the East Coast are, and I would never step over someone on a street, either because I was too self absorbed or afraid of being sued. So, sioux me. My temperment's been mellowed over time and the influence of living on the West Coast. I'd say I have a soft edge. I guess it balances out while livin' lovin' and laughin' in the USA.My work
I've had 3 part-time jobs since March 09. First, selling a product at Berkeley and Jensen's Wholesale stores called 'A Touch of Honey' Skin Conditioner its one in a line of quality, products made by the Thentix company of Canada. They have a website, http://www.selectmarketing.us and offer information, items for sale and Avon type distributorships to interested sales people. Its really nice stuff. This is an unsolicited testimony of an unpaid representative who is not a professional actor, but had a line in the Jackie Gleason/Tom Hanks 1987 movie; 'Nothing in Common' Check it out at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nothing_In_Common The television version, not DVD or VHS. Somehow in those I ended up on the cutting room floor. Tom's line was "I gave at the office". To which I replied, "I bet you gave at the office". It was genuine enough, I didn't know Tom and didn't see any camera around. Take my word for it, its not a brag, just a funny life experience. Jackie Gleason was sensational. People poured out into Chicago's 1 Federal Plaza to just get a glimpse of him.Fast facts

Why I choose the Opera browser
Seems safe to browse, a lot of freedom. Of course you have to be sensible, there are many pitfalls awaiting to invade your privacy. Take the leaked text messages to a phone from Tiger Woods for example. This is a very stable and safe place for social networking and very powerful and empowering for the user. Just know anything you post and anyone you text, might take that post or text and send it out to a lot wider audience than you might have intended. Tiger knows that now. It's great for publishing as long as people use care and discretion in getting their message out. The tools are all here to safely and positively affect the social networking world. I like Opera and Unite for 2 reasons. 1). It works based on Open-source code, if users want to better their experience on the web, Open-source stands to get perfected the more people that get on board and have a hand in it. 2). For ease of use and customized web, there's nothing better.
