Worlds longest blog!!!

Hey I have had a really great idea.

Lets try to make the worlds longest blog.

This is all you have to do, add any comment you want onto this page, and write as many times as you want. I saw one earlier that had lots and lots of comments over 300 lets see if we can go above that. I dont know how big the worlds largest is but lets see what we can do. All in favour reply with a happy comment to this blog :smile:

Heres to us all achiving the worlds longest comments on a blog.

lol...i have never been one to kill anything. i never used to kill spiders, until the one bit me. now i kill them every time i see them, or have Jaxs do it for me.

Hay! I'm back! Been quite sick, which at my age is NOT a good thing! Much better now, though, as long as I don't catch that accursed Swine Flu! If I do, it could be "Exit Stage Left!" rip :no:

I can't do that just yet. I haven't finished my Site! Not that it really makes a difference. When I go, the Site goes with me! :rats:

Anybody got any idea why I haven't been getting any emails from Opera? :confused:

Back again. Just finished totally re-doing Computer! I had two hard drives, each with 2 partitions. Drive C: was NTFS, the other 3 were FAT16! No wonder the infernal machine was as slow as molasses! As you know, C: and E: were on HD1, and D: and E: were on HD2. I figured at first that I could save everything to DVD-RW's. Ha! If so, I could reload Windows once, and redo all 4 partitions at once. A good friend who know stuff, unlike far too many, suggested that partitions were out of date, and that I should make each drive a single partition.

I had 70 DVD's and went to work burning them all with assorted data. A lot of it is Torrents, as I'm one of these folks who gives back by keeping all my Torrents seeding. But no way. I still had bags of data left. So I copied what was left on C: and E: into D: and F:. It just fit! Just!

So I set up Windows, and when I got to the Partitions Page, I killed C: and E:, then made them into one biggie, 300 GB, and then caught up on my sleep while Setup formatted it. :lol:

When it was finished, I copied everything from D: and F: onto the now huge C:. :yes:

Back to Windows Setup. This time, in Partitions, I killed D: and F:, made them one big partition (130 GB) and formatted it. Merrily charging on, Setup finished, and much to my surprise, friggin Windows, Program Files, and Docs and Settings, (where My Documents hangs out) were on Disk D:! What? :cry:

Back to Setup. Killed D:, made the Partition, but didn't format it this time, giving Setup no choice but to put Windows, etc, on C: :lol:

As soon as Windows was there, I bopped up Windows Explorer and as soon as I hovered the Mouse over D, a window came up and said, "Format Now?" "Errr, yes, Mr Gates, if it's not too much trouble!" Only took about 20 minutes.

Everything was fine then. So I started copying all the Torrents into the "Torrents" folder I made on D:. It's now full, all 130 GB of it. So now I also have a "Torrents" folder on C:!

But there was one bit of bad news. I lost some stuff, although not much, when it couldn't copy and paste from DVD. Damn! But what can you do? (Burnt with Nero, BTW.)

glad its you that did it and not me. i don't have the discs right now to do that, and i know i need to. i also need to figure out if i can get my external drive fixed, and if not, what it is going to cost me to get it transferred to another external.

on top of that, the holidays are upon us, and its hard as hell to get things done this time of year, without a waiting list.
