3. Read in roles
This is Ron. He’s eight. He’s got a dog, Spot. He is sad. His dog is ill. Granny and Granddad come: “What’s the matter” they ask. “Spot is ill” “We’re sorry” say Granny and Granddad. “Let’s ask Mum and Dad” “That’s good idea!” says Ron
Mum and Dad come: “What’s the matter, Ron” they ask. “Spot is ill” “We’re sorry” say Mum and Dad. “Let’s call the Vet” “That’s good idea!” says the boy.
Ron calls the Vet: “Mr. Pill, can you please come? Spot is ill” “OK” says Mr. Pill. He comes to Spot. “What’s the matter? Aha”.
He gives pills to Spot.”Yum, yum” Spot takes pills. Spot is fine. Ron is happy. “Hooray, thank you, Mr. Pill. I want to be a vet.”
