Tunisia qualifies to the 12th World U-17 Championship in Korea!

For lovers of African football, all roads lead to Togo which hosts the 7th African U-17 Championship.

Tunisia qualified to this cup after beating Mauritania and Senegal:
_ TUN 1-1 MAU/ MAU 0-1 TUN
_ TUN 1-0 SEN/ SEN 1-0 TUN (P: 2-4)
Tunisia plays in the Group A with Togo, South Africa and Gabon. The group B is termed "group of death for nothing" as between Ghana (in 1999: led by Michael Essien of Chelsea fame), Nigeria and Burkina Faso (losing finalist in 1999 and 2001) and Eritrea.

The four semi finalists (Nigeria, Togo, Ghana and Tunisia) will represent Africa at the 12th World U-17 Championship in Korea: 28 August to 9 September.
